Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, known to South Africans as Madiba was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary and politician who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the first black South African to hold the office, and the first elected in a fully representative, multiracial election. The World joined South Africans, as we mourn His passing this year, on the 5th of December 2013 (aged 95).
Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences are with the Mandela Family and friends at this time. Let us stand together now and in the days ahead, and do what needs to be done to honor with dignity Tata Madiba. We know you share with many of us the same passionate wish to see Nelson Mandela’s legacy being kept alive and made available to the world. So in the mourning state of the country, we dug into the viral frequency of the internet and the creative archives to see what creatives all over the world cooked for Madiba and the ones that would surely inspire ingenuity of arts.
